Cassie Gresham
President 

Cassie is an attorney and partner at Braun & Gresham, PLLC. Her work focuses on issues affecting landowners: property taxes, boundary disputes and condemnation suits.  She also works with clients on the purchase and sale of rural land, and on innovative, individually-tailored efforts to conserve land and family assets.  One of her favorite things is watching the sun rise over Lady Bird Lake.
Dean Glenesk

President-Elect, Treasurer 
Frost Bank

Dean Glenesk is a Senior Vice President with Frost Bank in their commercial banking area.  He has been a regular user of the Trail since the early 1980’s with past and present training partners being a mix of dogs, baby-joggers and great friends.

Jennifer Brown Emerson
Brown Consulting

Jennifer Brown is an attorney/legislative consultant. When she is not spending time at the Capitol, you can find her running on the trail with great friends.
Chris Carlson

St. Jude Medical, S.C.

Chris Carlson is a Senior Strategic Pricing Manager at St. Jude Medical.  The Trail is his favorite spot in Austin where he runs on a regular basis.  The Trail was one of the key factors in his decision to move to Austin over 12 years ago.
Gerardo Castillo

Capital Metro

Gerardo Castillo is the Senior VP and Chief of Staff at Capital Metro where he leads all aspects of Capital Metro’s communications, marketing, community outreach, diversity, board relations, and government relations functions. Gerardo is a native (east) Austinite and lifelong user of the Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail at Lady Bird Lake. In his spare time, Gerardo is an avid Ironman triathlete and marathon runner having completed the Boston Marathon earlier this year.

 

Griffin Davis
Angel Investor

Griffin Davis is an angel investor and a marketing and public relations advisor to early stage companies. His current investments include Austin-based Q1 Media, CoPromote, the Container Bar and Balcones Resources. Griffin is passionate about the Trail’s greenspaces and most proud of his work on the Boardwalk project.

 

DeWitt Gayle

Independent Investor

Formerly President/CEO of the STG Design, Inc. architecture firm, DeWitt serves as an architectural adviser, and manages independent real estate investments.  He has been an avid runner and cyclist on the Trail for over 35 years, and currently works with new construction projects for TTF’s Projects Committee.

Alfred Godfrey

Limbacher & Godfrey Architects

Alfred Godfrey is an architect and planner who has worked extensively in the Trail corridor for over 25 years. He is also the founding president of the Rosedale Foundation. He enjoys walking to work on the Trail, and is passionate about its importance to the health and well-being of Austin.

Moran Marketing & Events

Katie is the owner of Moran Marketing & Events, a company focused on local business marketing & advertising  as well as planning public & private events around Austin.  To relax and re-energize her creativity, Katie runs the Trail several times a week with her trusted dog, Memphis.
Leslie Newberry

Tarrytown Pharmacy, Owner

Leslie Newberry and her husband are third generation owners of Tarrytown Pharmacy, an independent pharmacy servicing West Austin for 75 years.  Being in the healthcare business, she understands the important role the Trail plays in the well being of her community.  She has been an avid Trail user since her college days at University of Texas.

Stefan Pharis

Pharis Design

Stefan Pharis is co-owner and Landscape Architect at Pharis Design. A typical day in Austin for him is a trip around the Trail with his wife and kids, followed by an afternoon cool down at Deep Eddy or Barton Springs.

Susan Smith Turrieta

Susan Smith Turrieta is a registered Professional Engineer and President with Smith Turrieta Engineering, a Texas-based engineering firm specializing in the design and construction of city, state and county infrastructure including park and trail systems.  Susan was drawn to the Trail during her work with the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and continues to be an advocate for the Trail.

Sandi Tomlinson

Community Advocate

Recently retired from a fulfilling career focused on health and wellness.  For more than 25 years and over 20,000 miles of running around Lady Bird Lake, the trails have united me with many kindred spirits and brought me closer to who I am.  I’m proud that Austin’s most treasured gem, the Trail, is now a favorite destination for our grandchildren.

Mary Yancy

Psychologist, Hancock Wellness Center

As a native Austinite, Mary Yancy can’t imagine Austin without its Trail heartbeat. Mary is a psychologist at Hancock Wellness Center, and enthusiastic advocate for the mental and physical benefits of Trail time.

Jessica Zarndt

The University of Texas

Dr. Zarndt is an assistant professor of medicine at UT Dell Medical School in the Department of Population Health. She also serves as the Associate Team Physician for the UT Longhorns. She has a background as a nationally recognized collegiate runner and continues to run daily, making her an avid user of the trail system. She is passionate about the role the trail system plays in keeping Austin healthy.

La Corsha Hospitality Group is an Austin-based hospitality company that manages hotel, restaurant, and bar, facilities. He thrives on distance running at The Trail where he works off the occupational-hazard calories from Congress, Congress Bar, and Second.
